Abstract At present tecnological revolution through digitalization is transforming processes and services, Organizations are struggling to absorb the competitive pressure, attempting changes in operations by implementing Lean tools to improve their business health. Lean Initiatives are qualitative initiatives that improve organizational performance by identifying wastes and reducing costs from businesses, these initiatives are fundamental in maintaining long term customer relationship and satisfaction. Lean has not been implememted in service industry because it is still considered as a production tool which is utilized exclusively in manufacturing, but in reality Lean tools can be applicable in many more businesses. Lean implementation in service sector is fundamental because of increasing need and demand for quality services, which must be offered in-time for the customer. Lean in service is changing behaviours and attitudes of employees, In which CEO empower and give authority to managers over decision making for process improvement. Lean thinking is essential for lean services which focuses on designing SMART processes that perform activities faster which results quick responce to market. When Lean thinking is developed organizations communicate and share the successes that could be recieved from lean implementation. Lean services are effective and efficient, service is delivered to customer in time which can be achieved by eliminating waste. In services the wastes are of two types tangible and intangible, the difficulty is to identify and manage intangible wastes which are hidden. Lean focuses on elimination of wastes in any form of activity. First of all identification is made as anythings that is not valuable for customer. Lean approcah is to speed up the value added work for which customer is paying. Lean reduces and eliminate the non value added activity which is a form of Wastes. Lean Services is essentials as it make sure that higher profits are generated, it improves financial health by reducing wastes. Increases knowledge and know how of processes and develops smart thinking in behaviours.
