Attone e Leone di Vercelli: tra strategie di potere e riforme culturali nella diocesi di Vercelli tra X e XI secolo.

This work explores the dynamics of power and cultural reforms in the diocese of Vercelli between the 10th and 11th centuries, focusing on the figures of Attone and Leone. Through an analysis of historical sources, it is possible to see how Attone and Leo used their cultural abilities in favor of strategies of power, such as making them two prominent figures in the political climate of the period analyzed here.

Questa tesi esplora le dinamiche di potere e le riforme culturali nella diocesi di Vercelli tra il X e l'XI secolo, focalizzandosi sulle figure di Attone e Leone. Attraverso un'analisi delle fonti storiche, si delinea come Attone e Leone utilizzassero le proprie capacità culturali a favore di strategie di potere, tali da renderli due personaggi di spicco nel clima politico del periodo qui analizzato.
