A search for ZZ and WZ vector boson scattering into 4l, 2l2q and 2l2nu final states is presented. The analysis is based on proton-proton collisions recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2016, with an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb-1 and a center of mass energy of 13 TeV. The methodology of a previous study, based on Matrix Element Techniques, with a different signal but same three final states, is here reinterpreted. The full analysis procedure is covered, including signal selection, background treatment and systematic uncertainties. The results are expressed in terms of expected significance of signal over background.
