The paper is intended as an informative article for employees who are shareholders in the company. Since the share is an instrument that affects all categories of employees and is used to involve them in the achievement of increasingly ambitious company results, two types of share instruments, the free share and the stock option, are examined in detail, starting from the rules governing the participation of company employees and ending with the tax aspects of owning and disposing of shares, which have undergone numerous changes in Italy over the years.

L’elaborato intende essere un articolo informativo per i dipendenti azionisti aziendali. Essendo l’azione uno strumento riferito a tutte le categorie di lavoratori e utilizzato al fine di coinvolgere quest’ultimi nell’ottenimento di risultati aziendali sempre più ambiziosi, verranno approfondite due tipologie di strumenti azionari, quelle gratuite e le stock options, partendo dalle norme che disciplinano la partecipazione azionaria del personale interno all’azienda fino agli aspetti fiscali legati al possesso e alla cessione delle azioni che in Italia hanno subito numerose modifiche nel corso degli anni.
