IPV ED ELEMENTI DISFUNZIONALI NELLE RELAZIONI ROMANTICHE: UNA RASSEGNA DELLA LETTERATURA

Intimate partner violence is a phenomenon that affects men and women of every age, nationality and social background. The first part of the paper concerns differences betweeen patriarchal società and modern society. We analyze how women role has changed and, at the same time, how relationships have changed. We will focus on how relationships affect individual, firstly the importance of family. Survey on society, changes occured and on man and woman roles help us to understand the phenomenon of intimate partner violence. We will analyze the different kind of violence and the legislative excursus that this phenomenon has faced. We will talk about SARA (Spousal Assault Risk Assessment) and it's screening versione, SARA ¿ S, important instrument to defend victims and assess the risk of relapse and escalation of violence. We will focus on ISTAT data, in order to understand entity of the phenomenon e differences based on different factors, such as social background, age, nationality and employment. The last part of the paper will be dedicated to the biological bases of violence, debated topic, that sees on brain anatomy and on genetics the origins of the violence and will be dedicated space to the violence suffered by men.

La violenza tra partner intimi è un fenomeno che interessa uomini e donne di ogni età, nazionalità ed estrazione sociale. Nella prima parte dell'elaborato analizzeremo le differenze tra la società patriarcale e la società dei giorni nostri. Nel dettaglio vedremo come il ruolo della donna sia mutato e, al contempo, come siano mutate anche le relazioni. Ci soffermeremo sull'influenza delle relazioni nella formazione del singolo, in primis l'importanza che ha la famiglia. L'indagine sulla società, sulle trasformazioni occorse e sul ruolo di uomini e donne ci aiuta ad esplorare e comprendere la tematica della violenza tra partner intimi. Tratteremo i vari tipi di violenza e ci soffermeremo sull'excursus legislativo che il fenomeno della violenza ha compiuto. Analizzeremo il SARA (Spousal Assault Risk Assessment) e la sua versione screening, SARA ¿ S, importante strumento di risk assessment volto a difendere le vittime di violenza e a valutare il rischio di recidiva di azioni violente e di escalation nella violenza. Consulteremo i dati ISTAT, per comprendere l'entità del fenomeno e le differenze che intercorrono sulla base di diversi fattori, tra cui estrazione sociale, età, occupazione, nazionalità. La parte finale dell'elaborato sarà dedicata alle basi biologiche della violenza, tematica dibattuta, che vede nell'anatomia del cervello e nella genetica le origini della violenza e dedicheremo spazio alla violenza subita dagli uomini.
