La Comunicazione di Salvini e Di Maio

During the parliamentary elections of March 4, 2018, among the themes most dealt with during the election campaign, we find the themes "work", "minimum income" and pension reform. The rhetoric used by the Lega's leader and the Movimento 5 Stelle's leader focused on reform projects to change the current legislation on the aforementioned topics. A rhetoric narrated through newspapers that play a key role in the storytelling of political life and the narration of public policies. In this degree thesis, I am going to study how public policies are treated by Corriere.it in two different research phases, one in the pre-election phase and one in the post-election phase. I will begin by telling, based on literature, how public policies are dealt with by the media, with the tendency to bring out competing frames within newspaper articles or within news services. Subsequently an overview will be offered on the 2018 elections, on the voting guidelines and on the actors involved that will constitute the government agreement, namely the League of Matteo Salvini and the Movimento 5 Stelle's with Luigi Di Maio. In the third chapter we will analyze the proposals for reform on the subject of "work", "minimum income "and "pensions", which respectively take the name of "reddito di cittadinanza" and" quota 100 "based on the decree law 4/2019 which establishes their entry in italian welfare. In the fourth chapter I will show the research methods I carried out in both phases of the study and on both topics that will be commented on and shown in the fifth chapter of my degree thesis followed by the conclusions on the work I have done.

Durante le elezioni politiche del 4 Marzo 2018, tra i temi maggiormente trattati in campagna elettorale, troviamo i temi "lavoro", "reddito minimo" e riforma delle pensioni. La retorica utilizzata dal leader leghista e dal leader del Movimento 5 Stelle si concentrò su progetti di riforma per cambiare la legislazione attuale sui temi sopraccitati. Una retorica narrata attraverso i quotidiani che giocano un ruolo chiave nello storytelling della vita politica e della narrazione delle politiche pubbliche. In questa tesi di laurea, vado a studiare come le politiche pubbliche vengano trattate dal Corriere.it in 2 momenti di ricerca differenti, uno nella fase pre-elettorale e uno nella fase post-elettorale. Inizierò raccontando, in base alla letteratura, come le politiche pubbliche vengano affrontate dai media, con la tendenza a far emergere frame concorrenti all'interno degli articoli di giornale o all'interno dei servizi nei telegiornali. Successivamente verrà offerta una panoramica sulle elezioni 2018, sugli orientamenti di voto e degli attori interessati che costituiranno l'accordo di governo, ovvero la Lega di Matteo Salvini e il Movimento 5 Stelle con Luigi Di Maio. Nel terzo capitolo verranno analizzate le proposte di riforma sui temi "lavoro", "reddito minimo" e "pensioni, che prendono rispettivamente il nome di "reddito di cittadinanza" e "quota 100" in base al decreto legge 4/2019 che sancisce il loro ingresso nel welfare nazionale. Nel quarto capitolo mostrerò le modalità di ricerca da me effettuata in entrambe le fasi di studio e su entrambi i temi che verranno commentati e mostrati nel quinto capitolo della mia tesi di laurea a cui seguiranno le conclusioni sul lavoro da me svolto.
