This work aims to study individual variability of spontaneous brain activity in different classes of people. In particular, this analysis comprises two parts. First rfMRI data from the open repository 1000 Functional Connectomes Project have been used to study the individual variability between females and males. Next, rfMRI data from the open repository ABIDE have been employed to analyse the individual variability between heathy men and males with autism. This work is based on two main steps: ¿ It has been necessary to synchronize every subjects to the same target to make all activity directly comparable. ¿ The average Procrustes transformation between the target and all the other sub- jects has been calculated for each person in the data set. The results show that the variability between males and females is significantly different with a lower variability in the females group. Pathological conditions (autism) exhibits a shifts in the brain activity distribution with respect the control. In conclusion this method is able to obtain relevant information for the discrimination between and within groups using resting states data.
