Il rito nell'ambito educativo

In the proposed thesis, it is argued that ritual is fundamental in people's lives and should be rediscovered and used in the educational sphere as well. The ritual was examined in its most significant aspects, through an analysis of it in the religious sphere. The research then turned to some anthropological studies on ritual and then focused on the secular aspect of the theatrical ritual, which is expressed through some formats proposed in particular by the Social and Community Theatre methodology. Attention was also drawn to rituals that can become fundamental in the educational sphere, through the use of theatre, particularly in the form of the workshop and in the format of the parade, as an event characterised by certain significant ritual moments capable of creating a community atmosphere. The format of the parade was explored through the use of semi-structured interviews with a theatre operator involved in the organisation of the parade and with some of its participants. The ritual, therefore, can be a useful tool achieving certain educational objectives, such as supporting sociability, the search for one's own identity, a sense of belonging, and the rediscovery of one's roots, which guide one to live in a peaceful future.

Nella tesi proposta, si sostiene che il rito sia fondamentale nella vita delle persone e che debba essere riscoperto e utilizzato anche nell'ambito educativo. E' stato approfondito il rito nei suoi aspetti più significativi, attraverso l'analisi dello stesso nella sfera religiosa. La ricerca si è poi orientata verso alcuni studi antropologici sul rituale per poi soffermarsi sull'aspetto laico del rito teatrale, che si esprime attraverso alcuni format proposti in particolare dalla metodologia del Teatro Sociale e di Comunità. Inoltre, l'attenzione è stata portata sui rituali che possono diventare fondamentali nell'ambito educativo, attraverso l'utilizzo del teatro in particolare nella forma del laboratorio e nel format della parata, in quanto evento caratterizzato da alcuni momenti rituali significativi e capaci di creare un clima comunitario. Il format della parata è stato approfondito attraverso l'uso di interviste semi-strutturate rivolte ad un operatore teatrale coinvolto nell'organizzazione della parata e ad alcuni partecipanti alla stessa. Il rito, pertanto, può essere uno strumento utile per raggiungere alcuni obiettivi educativi, come il sostegno alla socialità, la ricerca di una propria identità, il senso di appartenenza, la riscoperta delle proprie radici, che orientano per vivere in un futuro di pace.
