Lean Six Sigma: considerazioni sull'applicazione nel settore dei servizi e manifatturiero

This research is aimed at answering two questions about the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodology both in manufacturing and services industries: does this method give good results in the two sectors? If yes, are there any differences in the implementation? The analysis is developed trough the use of two real adoption case in the two different fields: by evidencing the differences and similarities in the way of realizing Lean Six Sigma and by using the recent literature contributes we demonstrate that this method gives good results in both fields.

Il presente lavoro ha la finalità di dare risposta a due domande riguardanti l'implementazione nella pratica aziendale del metodo di Lean Six Sigma, cioè se possa essere efficacemente applicato sia nei servizi sia nel manifatturiero e se sì, con quali differenze. L'indagine è condotta tramite la comparazione tra due casi reali di adozione in due aziende, una per il manufacturing ed una del terziario; osservando differenze e somiglianze e facendo riferimento ai più recenti contributi della letteratura sul tema si arriva a dire che può essere adottato in entrambi i settori con buon profitto e si elencano le differenze di attuazione.
