L'età del Beat. Progetto e creazione di una trasmissione radiofonica

The Beat Generation is the subject of the format. The paper aims to show you all the steps to create a radio broadcast, from the procurement of the material to editing and playout. The purpose has become to create a series of episodes with a different structure from each other but starting with the same sound archive. This work, despite having to trace the path of a transmission, is obviously not a radio product, much less a pilot show, it seemed then that differentiate the settings of the two episodes go along with the experimental nature of the thesis and, at the same time, which demonstrates the versatility of the medium of radio. The first episode, therefore, provides a radio drama, the second stamp its structure on the metaphor of the classical music concert, the third provides a look into the effects that the Beat Generation was in Italy, and is developed through interviews and oral histories

Premessa della tesi è la realizzazione di un format radiofonico, le cui componenti sono state selezionate e rielaborate da un'unica fonte. La scelta è caduta su Ubuweb, sito internet e caleidoscopio di file, visivi e sonori, sul movimento dell'avanguardia. Individuato il campo d'azione, il metodo di lavoro prevederà l'assemblaggio degli elementi censiti, con l'obiettivo di giungere ad una vera e propria riscrittura sonora, collage di file, anche molto diversi tra loro, ma forniti dallo stesso contenitore virtuale. La Beat Generation è il soggetto del format. L'elaborato si propone si mostrare tutte le fasi di creazione di una trasmissione radiofonica, dal reperimento del materiale al montaggio e alla messa in onda. Il proposito è diventato quello di creare una serie di puntate con una struttura diversa tra loro ma partendo dallo stesso archivio sonoro. Questo lavoro, pur proponendosi di tracciare il percorso di una trasmissione, non è ovviamente un prodotto radiofonico, né tanto meno una trasmissione pilota; è parso quindi che differenziare le impostazioni delle due puntate assecondi la natura sperimentale della tesi e, al tempo stesso, che dimostri la versatilità del mezzo radiofonico. La prima puntata, dunque, prevede uno sceneggiato radiofonico, la seconda impronta la sua struttura sulla metafora del concerto di musica classica, la terza prevede uno sguardo sugli effetti che la Beat Generation ha avuto in Italia, e si sviluppa attraverso interviste e racconti orali.
