L’HIP HOP e il lavoro educativo della street culture

This thesis investigates how Hip Hop culture can be used as a tool within educational projects. The paper starts from addressing educational and community dance and how they can correlate with this culture. The second chapter deals with the history of Hip Hop, from its birth to the present day. Continuing with the third chapter, Hip Hop and its disciplines are addressed as an educational tool, thanks to the literature found on it. The thesis ends with the research carried out in the Turin area, four projects are followed that used Hip Hop as an educational tool. The SWOT analysis used allowed a clear and in-depth investigation of the elements found in the interviews.

Questa tesi indaga come la cultura Hip Hop possa essere utilizzata come strumento all’interno dei progetti educativi. L’elaborato parte dall’affrontare la danza educativa e di comunità e come possano correlarsi con questa cultura. Il secondo capitolo tratta la storia dell’Hip Hop, dalla sua nascita sino ai giorni nostri. Proseguendo con il terzo capitolo si affronta l’Hip Hop e le sue discipline come strumento educativo, grazie alla letteratura trovata in merito. La tesi si conclude con la ricerca effettuata sul territorio torinese, vengono riportati quattro progetti che hanno utilizzato l'Hip Hop come strumento educativo. L’analisi SWOT utilizzata ha permesso un’indagine chiara e approfondita degli elementi risultati dalle interviste.
