The purpose of this research is to explore the importance of marketing automation for businesses in acquiring new customers. Integrated Marketing automation aims to tie the loop between marketing and direct or indirect sales channels by automating traditionally manual marketing tasks. It enables automated, timely and personalised communications to customers. By securing contacts and potential customers from numerous places, like direct mail campaigns, online registration pages, mail marketing, multichannel campaigns, social media, and tradeshows. To eventually produce ready, scored and nurtured business opportunities, that in turn get delivered to the organisation's sales unit. Not a complete sentence. The findings of the research indicate that marketing automation affects customer experience from start to finish with automated and personalised interactions along a customer's journey.
