After that has been presented historically the case study of Hungary in order to be able to analyze the process that brought Orbán's government to build the fence on the Serbian (and then Croatian too) border. Reading the case of this country with the lens of securitisation, depolitisation and sovereignty, noticing how fundamental these elements have been in order to build the legitimacy of hungarian fence, an uxepcted discovery showed up. We've seen a contradictory stream of depolitisation, realizing an opposite direction on the level of necessity (depolitisation, thanks to securitisation) and responsibility (politisation on the government).

Abstract
The research has the aim of investigating about the symbol of the walls and the processes of their legitimation by the governments despite of the laws that would impeed their construction. To reach this aim has been used, as interpretation keys, the dynamics of securitisation and delegitimation. On the first place, have been analysed the history of migration and the law referred to it, the relationship with the alterity nowadays, declined in terms of perception of the foreigner and definition of borders and boundaries and the birth and the importance of the concept of sovereignty. On the second place, the research concentrated on the detailed analysis of walls and fences all around the world, in order to highlight their meaning, features, effective usefulness (or not) and conseguences on the natural, economic, social and cultural enviroment. We've seen a contradictory stream of depolitisation, realizing an opposite direction on the level of necessity (depolitisation, thanks to securitisation) and responsibility (politisation on the government).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
