Julio Cortázar tra immagine e parola: un'analisi de La vuelta al día en ochenta mundos e Último round

This dissertation regards some questions about the link between visual language and verbal language to point out the potentialities of this connection in artistic field. From these assumptions, then, an analysis will be conduct of two miscellaneous of Julio Cortázar, La vuelta al día en ochenta mundos and Último round, from the point of view of the interaction of images and words. The aim of this work is to show how the original thought of the author has been carried in an effective way precisely because of the combined use of two semiotic systems that, interacting, have been able to create a world and show it to the lector.

Questa tesi si occuperà di alcune questioni relative il legame tra linguaggio visuale e linguaggio verbale per arrivare a mettere in luce quali siano le potenzialità della loro unione in ambito artistico. Partendo da questi presupposti in seguito si cercherà di analizzare dal punto di vista dell'interazione tra immagini e testi le due opere miscellanee di Julio Cortázar, La vuelta al día en ochenta mundos e Último round. L'obiettivo sarà quello di mostrare come il pensiero originale dell'autore sia stato veicolato in modo efficace proprio per l'utilizzo congiunto di due sistemi semiotici che, nella loro interazione, sono riusciti a creare un mondo e mostrarlo al lettore.
