Errare errando. L'errore cognitivo in medicina

This degree thesis analyzes cognitive error in medicine. Starting from the meaning of the word error, we continue with the analysis of the logic regarding the diagnostic modality of doctors to continue with the analysis of heuristic and the functioning of our mind as illustrated by Kahneman in the book "thinking slow and fast". After this excursus of modalities of cognitive error, we tell the last part in which we describe the method to avoid this type of error so widespread among doctors.

Questa tesi analizza l'errore cognitivo in medicina. Partendo dal significato della parola errore si prosegue con l'analisi della logica riguardante la modalità diagnostica propria dei medici per proseguire con l'analisi delle euristiche e del funzionamento della nostra mente come illustrato da Kahneman nel libro "pensieri lenti e veloci". Dopo questo excursus sulle modalità dell'errore cognitivo si affronta l'ultima parte in cui si raccontano le modalità per evitare questo tipo di errore così diffuso tra i medici
