"Scopriamo l'acqua e le sue proprietà!". Un progetto di didattica laboratoriale per la scuola Primaria.

My experimental thesis is based on the hypothesis that using laboratory teaching, involving children in experimentation, creating moments of discussion and discussion we can develop solid knowledge and learning processes also of a subject usually not proposed to the younger pupils, or the Chemistry. With my project I wanted to try to actively involve children in dealing with this subject, trying to bring out the fun side of this scientific discipline and trying to stimulate the interest of the students. In order to support my thesis I have carried out a project based on water and its properties in a second Primary class, dealing with various topics, such as the state transitions and the water cycle. At the end of the experimentation, through the tests carried out by the children and the compilation of the evaluation section, I found that the use of laboratory teaching has actually involved the children, all of whom have achieved the objectives and skills that I had initially proposal.

La mia tesi sperimentale si fonda sull'ipotesi che utilizzando la didattica laboratoriale, coinvolgendo i bambini nelle sperimentazioni, creando momenti di confronto e discussione si possano sviluppare processi di conoscenza ed apprendimento solidi anche di una materia solitamente non proposta agli alunni più piccoli, ovvero la Chimica. Con il mio progetto ho voluto quindi provare a coinvolgere attivamente i bambini nell'affrontare questa materia, tentando di far emergere il lato divertente di questa disciplina scientifica e provando a stimolare l'interesse degli alunni. Per sostenere la mia tesi ho svolto in una classe seconda Primaria un progetto basato sull'acqua e le sue proprietà, affrontando svariati argomenti, come i passaggi di stato ed il ciclo dell'acqua. Al termine della sperimentazione, attraverso le prove di verifica effettuate dai bambini e la compilazione della rubrica valutativa, ho riscontrato che l'utilizzo della didattica laboratoriale ha effettivamente coinvolto maggiormente i bambini, i quali hanno tutti raggiunto gli obiettivi e le competenze che mi ero inizialmente proposta.
