La nostra Terra trema: un progetto didattico per avvicinare i bambini della scuola primaria al territorio e alle sue trasformazioni

The following thesis presents a course on seismic risk. The project idea is to bring children closer to this problem, explaining the origin, methods of prevention and safety at home and in school. In the first part of the following paper, the theoretical framework is presented, analysing different theories of authors from the 1900s who have distinguished themselves for their studies concerning concept development and learning. In the second part, the project is presented and exposed with the objective of bringing students, future citizens, to respect for the territory, to its transformations and simultaneously the prevention of both physical and mental harm is addressed. This project is aimed at Primary school students aged between 6 and 11. I have chosen to structure and organize various activities, from the simplest to the most structured, to make children increasingly aware of this possible risk and at the same time provide them with the necessary tools to deal with it and overcome it in the most mature and competent way possible.

Il seguente elaborato di tesi presenta un percorso didattico sul rischio sismico. L’idea di progetto vuole essere quella di avvicinare i bambini a questo problema, spiegare loro l’origine, le modalità di prevenzione e sicurezza a casa e a scuola. Nella prima parte del seguente elaborato viene presentato il quadro teorico, analizzando differenti teorie di autori del ’900 che si sono distinti per i loro studi riguardanti lo sviluppo dei concetti e l’apprendimento. Nella seconda parte viene invece presentata ed esposta la progettazione avente come obiettivo l’avvicinamento degli studenti, futuri cittadini, al rispetto del territorio, alle sue trasformazioni e parallelamente viene affrontato il discorso di prevenzione di danni sia fisici che mentali. Tale progetto è rivolto agli studenti della scuola Primaria, aventi un’età compresa fra i 6 e gli 11 anni. Ho scelto di strutturare ed organizzare varie attività, dalle più semplici alle più strutturate, per rendere i bambini sempre più consapevoli di questo possibile rischio e al contempo fornire loro gli strumenti necessari per affrontarlo e superarlo nella maniera più matura e competente possibile.
