La favolistica persiana nelle opere di Samad Behrangi: una traduzione del “Mush-e gorosne”

The thesis aims to investigate Persian folk literature with particular interest in the influence of the latter on modern Persian literature by the author Samad Behrangi. Through the analysis of the development and study of Persian folk literature, from the pre-Islamic period until the 20th century, we will try to outline the characteristic features of short stories and fairy tales. The characteristic expressions of openness and closure of the stories, the superstitions related to them, the main characters and the important role of the narrator will be taken into account. Later, the life and thought of Samad Behrangi will be explored through the deepening of his works. And in conclusion, the commented translation of one of his short fables will be proposed: Mush-e Gorosne.

La tesi si propone di indagare la letteratura popolare persiana con particolare interesse nell'influenza di quest'ultima sulla letteratura persiana moderna dell'autore Samad Behrangi. Attraverso l'analisi dello sviluppo e dello studio della letteratura popolare persiana, dal periodo preislamico fino al XX secolo, si cercheranno di delineare i tratti caratteristici di racconti brevi e favole. Verranno presi in considerazione le espressioni caratteristiche di apertura e di chiusura dei racconti, le superstizioni ad essi legati, i principali personaggi e l'importante ruolo del narratore. In seguito, verranno esplorate la vita e il pensiero di Samad Behrangi mediante l'approfondimento delle sue opere. E in conclusione, verrà proposta la traduzione commentata di una sua breve favola: Mush-e Gorosne.
