COVID-19 e giovani: l’emarginazione psicologica dei Millennials

The thesis will focus on the psyche of the Millennials because, in addition to being the most ignored by the media, there are also those who will suffer the most from the economic consequences of the pandemic. The first chapter will begin with the introduction to the virus and the explanation of the Millennials are and why there is a need to talk about them. The thesis aims to prove how the pandemic has accentuated the sense of loss and depression. I will analyze how the influence of the environment affects the individual and his way of looking to the future; specifically, how the change caused by the virus and the containment measures limit the aspiration of a generation that by itself tends to focus on the present. I will also talk about the exclusion and blame caused by the media. The second and third chapters will be based on the analysis of the data that emerged from the questionnaire, which shows how in particular a young female archetype has been affected the most by the pandemic.
