This thesis aims to present an analysis of the impact of covid-19 and its likely consequences for football future. Football industry is facing an unprecedented period of crisis, as it is happening all over the world in every field of work. The pandemic spared no Clubs; all were affected, some more, some less. Certainly, all Clubs have had losses due to the lack of matchday revenues, which usually correspond to a good percentage of total revenues. Most clubs have had to resort to spending cuts, such as a cut in players' salaries, as clubs have had liquidity problems due to reduced revenues.
