Le cure infermieristiche mancate(Missed Nursing Care): una ricerca bibliografica

The following paper describes missed nursing care, predisposing factors and tools for ad hoc assessments. Within the thesis, "missed nursing care" was identified, i.e. nursing care that is omitted by healthcare personnel. Missed care is classified into different categories for communication, self-management, autonomy, physical care and emotional and psychological assistance to the patient and family. This phenomenon, known as "missed care", leads to a decrease in patient satisfaction and job dissatisfaction among hospital staff. It is advisable to maintain the healthiest possible environment between operators and patients, as teamwork promotes the objectives set in the care processes. A mention is made relating to the Covid-19 period, as communication and isolation conditions have had repercussions on patients and healthcare personnel. A search was performed through Pubmed, Cochrane and Cinhail, using the keywords “missed nursing care”, “missed care”, “fundamental of care” with the Boolean operator “OR” and the filters “free full text” and “last five years”. The review presents articles in Italian, English and Spanish that define the degree of job and personal satisfaction of staff and patients.

Il seguente elaborato descrive le cure infermieristiche mancate, i fattori predisponenti e gli strumenti per le valutazioni ad hoc. All’interno della tesi sono stati identificate le “missed nursing care” ovvero quelle cure infermieristiche che vengono omesse da parte del personale sanitario. Le cure mancate vengono classificate in diverse categorie per comunicazione, autogestione, autonomia, cure fisiche e assistenza emotiva e psicologica al malato e alla famiglia. Questo fenomeno, conosciuto come “cure mancate” porta a una diminuzione della soddisfazione del malato e una insoddisfazione lavorativa del personale ospedaliero. È opportuno mantenere un ambiente più sano possibile, tra operatori e pazienti, in quanto il lavoro in equipe favorisce gli obiettivi posti nei processi assistenziali. Viene fatta una menzione relativa al periodo Covid-19, in quanto la comunicazione e e le condizioni di isolamento hanno avuto ripercussioni su pazienti e personale sanitario. È stata eseguita una ricerca attraverso Pubmed, Cochrane e Cinhail, usando le parole chiave “missed nursing care” , “missed care” , “fundamental of care” con l’operatore booleano “OR” e i filtri “free full text” e “last five years”. Nella revisione vengono presentati articoli in lingua italiana, inglese e spagnola che definiscono il grado di soddisfazione lavorativa e personale del personale e pazienti.
