DAI MUTUI SUBPRIME CARTOLARIZZATI AL BITCOIN: COME SI EVOLVONO LE BOLLE SPECULATIVE

The paper aims to analyze the ways in which speculative bubbles are created and evolve over time. More specifically, it dissects the speculative bubble of 2008 and with it the two key factors that have allowed its progress: securitization and subprime mortgages. In the final phase, however, the paper examines the world of blockchain and Bitcoin, trying to delve into the bubble in which the latter found itself in 2017 and to understand whether it is currently in a new speculative bubble. ​

L'elaborato si pone l'obiettivo di analizzare le modalità con le quali le bolle speculative si creano e si evolvono nel tempo. Più nello specifico, si occupa di sviscerare la bolla speculativa del 2008 e con essa i due fattori chiave che hanno permesso il suo progredire: cartolarizzazione e mutui subprime. Nella fase finale, invece, l'elaborato esamina il mondo della blockchain e del Bitcoin cercando di approfondire la bolla nella quale quest'ultimo si è ritrovato nel 2017 e di comprendere se esso sia attualmente in una nuova bolla speculativa.
