AN EXPERIENCE IN THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF WEALTH MANAGEMENT

During the third year of the bachelor’s degree in Business & Management at the Università degli Studi di Torino, I had the possibility to take part to the courses of the Pre-Master Year offered by the ESCP Business School. At the end of the courses, I had the chance to pursue an internship experience of four months at Voices of Wealth. Better known as We-Wealth, it is a financial multimedia company and the first marketplace in Europe dedicated to the digital transformation of the Wealth Management industry. The purpose of this paper is to provide a description and an analysis of the internship experience I conducted. Starting from an overview of the Wealth Management Industry and a brief description of the firm’s structure and the services offered, I will try to understand how the company’s mission is related the current market trends and how it differentiates itself from the competitors. In the second part of the report, I will focus on the internship experience. I will describe and analyse the projects I was involved in, the competencies I was required to use and those I needed to develop to complete the work. Finally, I will try to reflect upon the overall experience and how I expect it will contribute to my future professional development.
