GLI EFFETTI DEL COVID-19 SULLE SOCIETA’ QUOTATE ITALIANE

In this thesis I wanted to explain both qualitatively and quantitatively the effects that the recent crisis from Covid-19 had on six Italian listed companies. The six companies in question belong to different sectors, and have reacted differently to the pandemic, both in economic terms and in terms of actions to mitigate the risk of infection within the company itself. The data on the companies were collected on the annual reports published by the companies under consideration and were included in a database with which it was possible to make a comparison between 2019 and 2020, to study more precisely the economic/financial impacts of the pandemic. I also analyzed the techniques used by the company to ensure business continuity and the achievement of objectives in the medium/long term.

In questa tesi ho voluto spiegare sia qualitativamente che quantitativamente gli effetti che la recente crisi da Covid-19 ha avuto su sei imprese quotate italiane. Le sei aziende prese in oggetto appartengono a settori differenti, ed hanno reagito in modo differente alla pandemia, sia in termini economici e sia in termini di azioni per mitigare il rischio di contagio all’interno dell’azienda stessa. I dati sulle società sono stati raccolti sulle relazioni annuali pubblicate dalle società prese in considerazione e sono stati inseriti in un database con cui è stato possibile fare un confronto tra il 2019 e il 2020, per studiare con più precisione gli impatti economico/finanziari dovuti alla pandemia. Ho inoltre analizzato le tecniche utilizzate dalla società per garantire la continuità aziendale e il conseguimento degli obiettivi nel medio/lungo termine.
