Filippo II e la rivolta dei Paesi Bassi: una prospettiva dinamica

The work focuses on the analysis of the riots that shocked the Netherlands in the second half of the 16th century. The research perspective is dynamic, a solution that allows the points of view of the parties involved to be continuously intertwined: that of Rey Prudente and that of the rioters. The Dutch Revolt is therefore studied, in this paper, through a wide-ranging approach that places it in relation to the European and extra-European political context.

Il lavoro è incentrato sull’analisi dei moti che sconvolsero i Paesi Bassi nella seconda metà del XVI secolo. La prospettiva di ricerca è di carattere dinamico, soluzione che consente di intrecciare continuamente tra loro i punti di vista delle parti in causa: quello del Rey Prudente e quello dei rivoltosi. La rivolta dei Paesi bassi è dunque studiata, in questo elaborato, attraverso un approccio di ampio respiro che la pone in relazione con il contesto politico europeo ed extraeuropeo.
