L'integrazione delle famiglie con background migratorio: il ruolo dei servizi educativi 0-6

This thesis addresses the issue of integration of families with migrant backgrounds at the nursery school and preschool. The objective is to analyze the role of educational services 0-6, which, for these families, are the first places of encounter and intercultural integration. The paper is divided into three parts: the first part introduces the reader to the concept of interculturality, explains its main points and highlights how it is applied in schools. The second part of the paper analyzes the role of educational services in the integration of families with migrant backgrounds, highlighting the reasons why they are important and how they manage the moment of reception. Finally, the last part investigates the school-family relationship with migrant background, how it occurs, what are the main problems, the points of view of both actors in the relationship and concludes with an in-depth analysis of the intervention of mediation and possible strategies to facilitate the relationship and communication between school and families.

La tesi affronta il tema dell'integrazione delle famiglie con background migratorio al nido e nella scuola dell'infanzia. L'obiettivo è quello di analizzare il ruolo dei servizi educativi 0-6, che, per queste famiglie, risultano i primi luoghi di incontro e di integrazione interculturale. L'elaborato è suddiviso in tre parti: nella prima parte si introduce il lettore al concetto di intercultura, ne vengono dunque spiegati i punti cardine e si mette in evidenza come essa viene applicata in ambito scolastico. Nella seconda parte dell'elaborato si analizza il ruolo dei servizi educativi nell'integrazione delle famiglie con background migratorio mettendo in evidenza le motivazioni per cui essi sono importanti e come gli stessi gestiscono il momento dell'accoglienza. Infine, nell'ultima parte si indaga la relazione scuola-famiglie con background migratorio, come avviene, quali sono le principali problematiche, i punti di vista di entrambi gli attori della relazione e si conclude con un approfondimento sull'intervento della mediazione e delle possibili strategie per facilitare il rapporto e la comunicazione tra la scuola e le famiglie.
