Le competenze sociali tra neurobiologia e nuove tecnologie. Quale ruolo per la relazone?

Technology has become fully part of the identity spectrum of man, not only online identity but also the relational modalities underlying human functioning are increasingly merging with technological data, modeling a new "version" of what it is known as a daily reality. In this regard, a careful analysis of the studies that deal with the identity and human relationships typical of our century in the light of new technologies was sought, thus trying to induce reflection that - in the not too near future - may give rise to new possible research projects and, above all, introduce a broader clinical vision, although the present psycho-social work is a synthetic - albeit articulated - profile of the regulatory community. The first chapter deals with the neuro-scientific and neurobiological bases that constitute the foundations of relational dynamics: neuronal plasticity, mirror neurons, theory of mind and attachment. In the second chapter which represents the central body of the work, we describe - describing - what are the basic empathic relational typologies: amorous, friendly, sexual, interweaving them with a detailed explanation of some mechanisms of technological forms, such as social networks, video games. and dating apps (to name a few), highlighting the impact they have on relationship dynamics and on the formation of the user's identity. In addition, dynamics and online support spaces (groups) are reported, which arise to counteract some negative phenomena such as cyberbullying and victimization, also examined. The third and final chapter offers a wide range of techniques that can encourage and facilitate the formation of empathy (essential in human relations), both in the teaching and in the educational sphere; to conclude by reporting the results of a series of research works that have used virtual reality as a technological means to improve empathy. The aim of this work is to be able to outline and define compatibly - with the limits of research - a fairly comprehensive picture of how the process of interpenetration between man and machine is being carried out, in order to provide the community with a possible key to reading of the dynamics involved.

La tecnologia è entrata a far parte pienamente nello spettro identitario dell'uomo, non solo l'identità online ma anche le modalità relazionali alla base del funzionamento umano si stanno fondendo sempre più con il dato tecnologico, modellando una nuova “versione” di ciò che si conosce come realtà quotidiana. A tal proposito si è voluta compiere un'attenta analisi degli studi che si occupano dell'identità e delle relazioni umane tipiche del nostro secolo alla luce delle nuove tecnologie, cercando in tal modo di indurre alla riflessione che - in un futuro anche non troppo prossimo – possano dare origine a nuovi possibili progetti di ricerca e, soprattutto, introdurre una visione clinica più allargata, sebbene il presente lavoro di stampo psico-sociale sia un sintetico - per quanto articolato - profilo della comunità normativa. Nel primo capitolo sono trattate le basi neuro-scientifiche e neurobiologiche che costituiscono i fondamenti delle dinamiche relazionali: plasticità neuronale, neuroni specchio, teoria della mente ed attaccamento. Nel secondo capitolo che rappresenta il corpo centrale del lavoro si affrontano – descrivendole - quelle che sono le tipologie relazionali di base empatica: amorosa, amicale, sessuale, intrecciandole con una spiegazione dettagliata di alcuni meccanismi delle forme tecnologiche, quali i social network, i videogiochi e le dating app (per citarne alcune), evidenziando l'incidenza che esse hanno sulle dinamiche relazionali e sulla formazione dell'identità dell'utente. Inoltre si riportano dinamiche e spazi di supporto online (i gruppi), che nascono per contrastare alcuni fenomeni negativi quali il cyberbullismo e la vittimizzazione, anch'essi esaminati. Il terzo ed ultimo capitolo offre un ampio ventaglio di tecniche che possono favorire ed agevolare la formazione dell'empatia (essenziale nelle relazioni umane), sia nell'ambito dell'insegnamento che in quello educativo; per concludere riportando i risultati di una serie di lavori di ricerca che hanno utilizzato la virtual reality come mezzo tecnologico per migliorare l'empatia. L'obiettivo del presente lavoro è poter delineare e definire compatibilmente - con i limiti della ricerca – un quadro abbastanza esaustivo di come si stia realizzando il processo della compenetrazione tra l'uomo e la macchina, in modo da fornire alla comunità una possibile chiave di lettura delle dinamiche implicate.
