Donne e Resistenza civile in provincia di Cuneo. La scelta, l'esperienza partigiana e il riconoscimento nel dopoguerra.

This thesis aims to deal with the partisan experience of women in the Province of Cuneo. The aim of the research is to highlight the importance of the role of women in the Resistance, mainly taking into consideration aspects related to the concept of civil resistance and the lack of recognition of the role of women in the post-war years. The widespread literature on the analysis of unarmed female participation in the war of liberation was necessary to frame the events of the Province of Cuneo in the general context of the Second World War. For the development of the thesis, some testimonies of women were taken into consideration from which the main aspects of their experience were extrapolated. The testimonies, available at the Archive of the Piedmontese Institute for the History of Resistance and Contemporary Society "Giorgio Agosti" and at the Historical Institute of the Resistance and Contemporary Society Archive in the Province of Cuneo "Dante Livio Bianco", were compared on the main issues in order to obtain the clearest possible image of the peculiarities of the Cuneo context and of the female experience.

Questa tesi si propone di trattare l'esperienza partigiana delle donne nella Provincia di Cuneo. Il fine della ricerca è mettere in luce l'importanza del ruolo femminile nella Resistenza prendendo in considerazione principalmente aspetti legati al concetto di Resistenza civile e al mancato riconoscimento del ruolo delle donne negli anni del dopoguerra. La diffusa letteratura di analisi della partecipazione femminile senz'armi alla guerra di Liberazione è stata necessaria per inquadrare gli eventi della Provincia di Cuneo nel contesto generale della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Per lo svolgimento della tesi sono state prese in considerazione alcune testimonianze di donne dalle quali si sono estrapolati i principali aspetti della loro esperienza. Le testimonianze, reperibili all' Archivio dell'Istituto piemontese per la storia della resistenza e della società contemporanea “Giorgio Agosti” e all' Archivio Istituto Storico della Resistenza e della Società Contemporanea in Provincia di Cuneo “Dante Livio Bianco", sono state messe a confronto sui principali temi al fine di ricavare un'immagine il più chiara possibile delle peculiarità del contesto cuneese e dell'esperienza femminile.
