Lo scopo di questa tesi di laurea consiste nell'analizzare l'atteggiamento propagandistico del Regime Fascista, in particolare nel periodo compreso tra maggio e novembre 1939 e nel valutare se abbia indirizzato il consenso della popolazione nei mesi immediatamente antecedenti e successivi allo scoppio della seconda guerra mondiale, avvenuto il 1° settembre 1939.
The purpose of this thesis is to present the methods used by Fascism in the period May to November 1939 to obtain the consensus of the working class in the months preceding, and immediately after, the start of World War II. This will include an analysis of news articles related to the Pact of Steel with consideration to the major European Democratic States. Economy-related issues will be analysed through news articles, studies, and editorial publications on economic self-sufficiency and the major agricultural and industrial reforms.

Abstract
