This paper tries to describe the features of interdisciplinary approach, based on holistic models by Ben-Yishay (on Goldstein's tracks), Prigatano and Christensen, in acquired brain injury rehabilitation, since hospital recovery to discharge and social/family reintegration. Patient, with caregivers, has to be effective part of the Project , organized by short term and long term goals and aimed at awareness and motivation increase. We highlight how useful the development of an alliance therapist-patient is, in order to reach a positive outcome and enable reintegration. The purpose is to understand the importance of an integration between operators' technical and relational competences and the person's needs and projects, considered in their complexion and with reactions, concerns, expectations typical of a similar situation.
