Un volgarizzamento anonimo del IV. libro dei "Dialoghi".

This work is an essay of critical edition of the 4th book of Gregory The Great's Dialogues, translated into the Florentine vernacular. I have collated two manuscripts, both of the XIVth century and in Florentine vernacular: ms. Ashburnham 492 (L) of the Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana and ms. Conv. soppr. C. I. 547 (N) of the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale, both in Florence. The translation is the same in the two manuscripts. The significant errors we have found lead to believe that the two manuscripts derive from the same archetype, but between the archetype and N there must have been an intermediary.

Saggio di edizione critica del IV. libro dei Dialoghi di Gregorio Magno, volgarizzato in fiorentino. Si è adottato come testo-base il ms. Ashburnham 492 (fior., XIV), custodito dalla Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana di Firenze, collazionato col ms. Conv. soppr. C. I. 547 (fior., XIV) della Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze. I due mss. tramandano lo stesso volgarizzamento e presentano errori congiuntivi tali da farli risalire allo stesso archetipo. Però tra l'archetipo e N deve esservi stato un intermediario.
