“IL MIO LAVORO EDUCATIVO OGGI” durante l'emergenza sanitarie da coronavirus. Indagine sull’organizzazione, le emozioni ed il riconoscimento sociale dell’educatore professionale

This dissertation studies the work of social workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research focuses on the organization, in particular the feelings and social recognition of the profession. Looking at this important case, the thesis assumes that social services arranged their own planning, that both social workers and clients feel overwhelmed and that social workers feel a misperception of their social work. The survey uses the questionnaire as the main research strategy, from which quantitative and qualitative data are provided. Data have been collected from questionnaire, newspapers, published reports and books. This dissertation questions the topics of the definition and health legislation of the Coronavirus, the different types of social services, the feelings related to social work, the origins of social workers and their recognition as well as the theory of the questionnaire structure. This dissertation shows that the pandemic has caused organizational change, which spreads concern among clients and social workers, whose feeling is that they are less recognized than other healthcare workers.

Questa dissertazione indaga il lavoro degli educatori professionali durante l'emergenza sanitaria dovuta al Covid-19. La ricerca si focalizza sugli aspetti dell'organizzazione, in particolare sulle emozioni e sul riconoscimento sociale della professione. Concentrandosi su questo importante evento, la tesi sostiene che i servizi educativi hanno modificato la loro organizzazione e che sia gli operatori sanitari che gli utenti si sentano sovraccarichi emotivamente, nonché gli educatori professionali abbiano la percezione di un mancato riconoscimento sociale al pari di altre figure sanitarie. La principale strategia di ricerca utilizzata durante l'indagine è il questionario, dal quale si evincono dati quantitativi e qualitativi, raccolti dal questionario stesso, da giornali, da pubblicazioni scientifiche e da monografie. La dissertazione tratta la definizione di Coronavirus e la sua legislazione, le diverse tipologie di servizi educativi esistenti, le emozioni e gli stati d'animo caratterizzanti il lavoro educativo, le origini della professione educativa e il suo riconoscimento sociale e infine la struttura del questionario telematico. La tesi dimostra che la pandemia mondiale ha causato cambiamenti organizzativi all'interno dei servizi educativi, causando diffusa preoccupazione tra utenti e operatori e aumentando la sensazione di essere meno riconosciuti socialmente rispetto ad altre figure sanitarie.
