Brevi riflessioni sulla teoria del trauma e del traumatico in S. Ferenczi

The main topic of this short paper is the theory of trauma in Ferenczi's work. During the writing is taken into account the evolution of his thinking with regard to trauma, considering the influence of his personal history and his relationship with Freud. Will be explored the conceptualization of trauma as a psychic and cumulative event that marks the victim for life and also emphasized the importance of the relational dimension in traumatic experience. Will be analized also the concept of "wise baby" and the scope of the transference-countertransference in the analysis. Ferenczi's theorization will be joined by that of Franco Borgogno, with the intent to emphasize the highly original thought of these two men.
