Cina e Africa - Una nuova forma di colonizzazione

CHINA AND AFRICA ¿ A NEW FORM OF COLINIZATION The path of the thesis starts with an analysis of China's economy to better understand a reality that is fascinating and powerful as concern for the fate of the global economy. Starting with the historical features, will highlight the numerous stages of development since the revolution, through the Maoist model, then analyze, more specifically, the reforms of Deng Xiaoping, at the base of economic growth. Next will be considered the opening of China to the rest of the world, the so-called "open-door policy" and what this event has brought to the country's economy. Will present the features of the Chinese economic system to address then look at the role of the Chinese economy into the global economy, a giant, worthy of being called "the Dragon". China with its large cities, new centers of the world, major areas for the flow of economic, financial and global trade: Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzen. One aspect, of the few known, but considered in the work, will be the other side of the miracle, the problems that the race for development has brought with it: those related to inequality in the development, exploitation of labor, resource depletion and several other weaknesses. Work is related to the analysis of the capitalist system of China, a transition that has a troubled history, which has only been possible thanks to the precise circumstances and led to assume the characteristics of all details. In the second part of the thesis will examine the situation in Africa, starting with an analysis of the causes of backwardness to move to an overview of the major African states and ending with the discovery of all the hidden potential of a continent so vast. Finally, a central pillar of the thesis will look on Chinese investment in Africa. After an overview of political history that traces the development of relations between China and Africa, we have analyzed the motivational levers that push Beijing towards the African continent and the main features of the Chinese diplomatic mission. We'll see how China has moved and what it has done in each state: the reasons of interest and investments made on site to analyze the effects that these policies had, positive and negative aspects and end with the obstacles faced by China in its scramble for Africa. The paper concludes with a case of Sudan, Africa's most important partner of China to understand the symbolic presence in the Chinese continent. After understanding the many nuances of reality and Sudan listed the abundant resources in the area, you will see how, specifically, China has moved to this North African state.

CINA E AFRICA ¿ UNA NUOVA FORMA DI COLONIZZAZIONE Il percorso della tesi parte da un'analisi dell'economia cinese per capire meglio una realtà tanto affascinante e potente quanto preoccupante per le sorti dell'economia globale. Cominciando dai lineamenti storici, saranno ripercorse le tappe dello sviluppo dalla rivoluzione, passando per il modello maoista, per poi analizzare, più specificatamente, le riforme di Deng Xiaoping, alla base della crescita economica. Successivamente sarà esaminata l'apertura della Cina al resto del mondo, la cosiddetta ¿Politica della porta aperta¿ e ciò che tale evento ha portato all'economia del paese. Saranno presentate le caratteristiche dell'attuale sistema economico cinese per rivolgere poi lo sguardo al ruolo dell'economia cinese nell'economia mondiale, un colosso, degno di essere chiamato ¿il Dragone¿. La Cina con le sue grandi città, nuovi centri del mondo, importanti zone per i flussi economici, finanziari e commerciali globali: Hong Kong, Shangai, Pechino e Shenzen. Un aspetto, da pochi conosciuto, ma analizzato nel lavoro, sarà l'altra faccia del miracolo, ossia i problemi che la corsa allo sviluppo ha portato con se: quelli legati alla disuguaglianza nello sviluppo, lo sfruttamento del lavoro, l'esaurimento delle risorse e numerosi altri punti deboli. Un approfondimento è legato all'analisi del sistema capitalistico cinese, una transizione che ha una sua travagliata storia, che ha potuto aver luogo solo grazie alla presenza di precise circostanza e ha portato ad assumere delle caratteristiche del tutto particolari. Nella seconda parte della tesi sarà esaminata la realtà africana, partendo dall'analisi delle cause dell'arretratezza per passare a una panoramica della situazione dei principali stati africani e terminando con la scoperta di tutte le potenzialità nascoste di un continente tanto vasto. Infine, pilastro centrale della tesi sarà l'aspetto relativo agli investimenti cinesi in Africa. Dopo una panoramica storico-politica che ripercorre l'evoluzione dei rapporti tra Cina e Africa, sono state analizzate le leve motivazionali che spingono Pechino verso il continente africano e le caratteristiche principali dell'azione diplomatica cinese. Si vedrà come la Cina si è mossa e cosa ha fatto in ogni stato: i motivi di interesse e gli investimenti effettuati sul luogo per analizzare gli effetti che tali politiche hanno avuto, sia i lati positivi, sia quelli negativi, per terminare con gli ostacoli incontrati dalla Cina nella sua corsa all'Africa. Il lavoro si conclude con un caso, quello del Sudan, principale partner africano della Cina emblematico per capire la presenza cinese nel continente nero. Dopo aver capito le tante sfumature della realtà sudanese ed enumerato le copiose risorse presenti sul territorio, si vedrà come, nello specifico, la Cina si è mossa verso questo stato dell'Africa settentrionale.
