Omogenitorialità: una lettura psicodinamica

Nowdays we can be present to the gay population¿s war to obtain the recognition of all the rights that are deny for her: one of these is the right to have a family and children. This text show the topic of gay parenting, with the objective to give arguments to back up this new family reality and to put in evidence the importance of a favourable social contest, in the child¿s interest. The focus of this work is to show that researches proves that the sexual orientation of the parents is not potentially `dangerous¿ for a normal children¿s development. Is the unfavourable social contest that can be `dangerous¿ for the children, because it can create troubles for the new gay family and, consequently, for the sons. The importance of the social support and the acceptance of this new reality will be therefore put in evidence, in the child¿s interest. For this purpose the results of many foreign research on this theme are considered, and some author¿s opinion too, among which Castañeda (1999), Barbagli e Colombo (2001), Biblarz e Stacey (2001), Lingiardi (2007), Cadoret (2008), Lalli (2009); starting from a first speech on couples and marriages, there will be some considerations on the cultural meaning given to the term `family¿, to speak about the relations between parents and sons, to refer to John Bowlby¿s attachment theories (1988). For conclusion, there will be a part regarding the adoption theme.

Oggi si assiste alla lotta da parte della popolazione gay per ottenere il riconoscimento di tutti quei diritti che ancora le vengono negati, tra cui quello di formare una famiglia e avere dei figli. Questo testo presenta il tema della genitorialità omosessuale, con l¿obiettivo di fornire argomenti a sostegno di questa nuova realtà familiare e evidenziare l¿importanza di un contesto sociale non ostile, nell¿interesse del bambino. Il lavoro si focalizza sul fatto che, nonostante le numerose contestazioni, la ricerca ha dimostrato che l¿orientamento sessuale dei genitori non è potenzialmente dannoso per lo sviluppo ottimale del bambino; ciò che può invece rivelarsi tale è il contesto sociale ostile: creando difficoltà al nuovo nucleo familiare, andrà a incidere negativamente anche sul bambino. Sarà posta dunque in evidenza l¿importanza del sostegno e dell¿accettazione di questa realtà, proprio nell¿interesse dell¿eventuale figlio. Vengono considerati, a questo fine, i risultati di varie ricerche sul tema, il più delle quali estere, e le opinioni di vari autori, tra cui Castañeda (1999), Barbagli e Colombo (2001), Biblarz e Stacey (2001), Lingiardi (2007), Cadoret (2008), Lalli (2009); a partire da un iniziale discorso riguardante la coppia e il matrimonio, verranno riportate alcune riflessioni sul significato culturalmente attribuito al termine ¿famiglia¿, arrivando poi a parlare del rapporto genitore ¿ figlio facendo riferimento alle teorie dell¿attaccamento di John Bowlby (1988), concludendo con una parte che prenderà in considerazione il tema dell¿adozione.
