AMBIENTE ED ENERGIA: PROSPETTIVE SOCIOLOGICHE NEL CAMPO DELLA CONTABILITÁ AMBIENTALE

This paper describes a theme that finds its origins long time ago, but that could be considered particularly relevant today. The aim is to study the environment, understood as bio-physical and natural external environment, put in relation with human societies, starting from the relationship between man and the natural resources (water, fire, wind, air), until reaching the current state of environmental emergency, and over-exploitation of resources and terrestrial ecosystems. The paper analyzes the relationship that humans have with their natural environment and how this relationship has changed over the time, along the way to consider the potential and limitations of the surrounding ecosystems. The work passes through the sociological perspectives regarding the birth and development of a major discipline called Environmental Sociology.

In questo lavoro affronto un tema che ritrova le sue origini lontane nel tempo, ma che mai come ora può essere considerato tanto attuale. L'oggetto di studio è l'ambiente, inteso nel senso bio-fisico di ambiente esterno e naturale, messo in relazione con le società umane, partendo dai primissimi rapporti dell'uomo con le risorse naturali che aveva a disposizione (acqua, fuoco, vento, aria), fino ad arrivare allo stato attuale di emergenza ambientale e sovra-sfruttamento delle risorse e degli ecosistemi terrestri. Il lavoro analizza il rapporto che gli esseri umani hanno avuto ed hanno tutt'ora con il loro ambiente naturale e come questo rapporto sia cambiato nel corso del tempo, insieme al modo di considerare le potenzialità e i limiti degli ecosistemi circostanti. Il percorso sviluppato passa attraverso le prospettive sociologiche che riguardano la nascita e lo sviluppo di un'importante disciplina chiamata Sociologia Ambientale.
