This study explores how Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) and Marriage Story (2019) challenge and reinforce traditional gender roles through their portrayals of marriage, parenthood, and divorce. Through a comparative film analysis, it is aimed to understand how gender roles are constructed and deconstructed in these films.
