Partigianato nell'Alto Canavese Occidentale: la IV Divisione Garibaldi.

This study aims to analyze the history of the resistance context in the Corio area and, in particular, the events related to the IV Divisione Garibaldi formed in Piano Audi. The main objective of this dissertation is to reconstruct the historical events and the impact that the resistance to the Nazi-fascist occupation had on the civilian population and the surrounding territories. Through the analysis of archival documents and existing literature, it was possible to outline the operational strategies, the main combat episodes, and the key figures of the brigade. The research highlights the central role played by the IV Divisione Garibaldi in order to release the territory, contributing to the partisan resistance in the Piano Audi area and its surroundings. From this, an important interaction between the Garibaldi brigades and the local population emerges, as well as a strong network of solidarity that characterized the actions of the resistance.

Il presente studio si propone di analizzare la storia del contesto resistenziale nella valle di Corio e, in particolare, le vicende legate alla VI Divisione Garibaldi costituita a Piano Audi. L'obiettivo principale di questa dissertazione è ricostruire le vicende storiche e l'impatto che la resistenza all'occupazione nazifascista ebbero sulla popolazione civile e sui territori circostanti. Attraverso l'analisi di documenti d'archivio e della letteratura esistente è stato possibile delineare le strategie operative, i principali episodi di combattimento e le figure chiave della brigata. La ricerca evidenzia il ruolo centrale che la VI Divisione Garibaldi ha svolto nella liberazione del territorio, contribuendo alla resistenza partigiana nella zona di Piano Audi e nelle aree circostanti. Da questo, si evince un'importante interazione tra le brigate Garibaldi e la popolazione locale, nonché una forte rete di solidarietà che ha caratterizzato l'azione della resistenza.
