Senza Pace, Senza Patria: Il Dramma dell'Esule in "Il mondo senza sonno" di Stefan Zweig

Through the analysis and commentary of the two articles and the two short stories that make up the book "The World Without Sleep" by Stefan Zweig, a representative of Exilliteratur during the Nazi period, I have sought to highlight the drama of the exile, suspended between past and present, between the memory of a now-destroyed Europe and his sense of alienation, unable to find a place in the world.

Attraverso l'analisi e il commento dei due articoli e dei due racconti che compongono il libro "Il mondo senza sonno" di Stefan Zweig, esponente dell'Exilliteratur durante il periodo nazista, ho cercato di mettere in evidenza il dramma dell'esule, sospeso tra passato e presente, tra il ricordo di un'Europa ormai distrutta e il suo senso di alienazione, non riuscendo più a trovare un posto nel mondo.
