KnoWhere: Una piattaforma web per l'integrazione e la promozione culturale attraverso mappe interattive

KnowWhere is a web application created for the integration and promotion of cultural events in the area. As the name suggests, the web app aims to combine elements of curiosity and knowledge (to know: from the English to know, to understand) to places in an area and their geographical position (where: from the English where). The app adapts to all types of users: it can be used by a citizen looking for an alternative weekend activity in the city where he lives, by a visitor fascinated by the tradition and culture of the place he is going to visit or by an event organizer who wants to make his small reality known to a larger audience.

KnoWhere è una applicazione web nata per l’integrazione e la promozione di eventi culturali del territorio. Come suggerito dal nome, la web app si propone di unire elementi di curiosità e conoscenza (to know: dall’inglese sapere, conoscere) a luoghi di un territorio e la loro posizione geografica (where: dall’inglese dove). L’app si adatta a tutte le tipologie di utente: può essere utilizza da un cittadino in cerca di un’attività alternativa nel fine settimana nella città in cui vive, da un visitatore affascinato dalla tradizione e dalla cultura del luogo che andrà a visitare o da un’organizzatore di eventi che vuole far conoscere la sua piccola realtà ad un pubblico maggiore.
