Sistemi di Enterprise Resource Planning e metodologie di innovazione iterative: nuove proposte di implementazione su SAP

Innovation and digital transformation are key factors for businesses' competitive advantage, allowing them to respond to rapid market changes and evolving customer needs through the adoption of new technologies to optimise processes, products, and business models. Following a deep review of innovation processes, with a specific focus on the growth hacking methodology, this thesis aims to analyse how the agile and iterative approaches can support the effective implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. With a case study on the implementation of an On-Premise Cloud ERP system, specifically focusing on the use of SAP S/4HANA ERP, this thesis outlines and analyses the phases through which the company, ALFA S.p.A., developed the project for implementing the new ERP system. In conclusion, reflections and future research perspectives are presented, with particular attention to the potential benefits of adopting growth hacking techniques to further enhance ERP system implementation processes. L’innovazione e la trasformazione digitale rappresentano la chiave per il vantaggio competitivo delle imprese, consentendo di rispondere ai rapidi cambiamenti di mercato e alle mutevoli esigenze dei clienti mediante l’adozione di nuove tecnologie per ottimizzare i processi, i prodotti e i modelli di business. A seguito di un’attenta revisione dei processi di innovazione, con focus sulla metodologia del growth hacking, questo elaborato si propone di esplorare come i processi agili e iterativi possano supportare un’implementazione efficace di un sistema ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Attraverso il caso studio inerente all’implementazione di un sistema ERP di tipo On-Premise in Cloud, con riferimento al modulo gestionale SAP S/4HANA ERP, vengono delineate e analizzate le fasi con cui l’azienda oggetto del caso di studio, ALFA S.p.A., ha sviluppato il progetto di implementazione del nuovo sistema ERP. Infine, si propongono riflessioni e prospettive di ricerca future, con particolare attenzione al potenziale derivante dall’adozione di tecniche di growth hacking per migliorare ulteriormente i processi di implementazione di un sistema ERP.
