Rodari e Cipollino: la lotta alla libertà

The thesis gives a general overview of Rodari's life, exploring all his scholarly and political engagements from his childhood until the last years of his life. The political contexts are analysed, as well as the ties that the Italian writer managed to establish with the Soviet Union, a country that brought him a certain notoriety. During his years of enthusiasm in Russia, he wrote the novel 'The Adventures of Cipollino', which was very successful and received several adaptations such as theatrical and film adaptations (i.e. the focus of this thesis). Further insight into the Russian political context is sought and how Rodari managed to fit into a world that was decidedly different from the Italian one. ​

La tesi fa una panoramica generale sulla vita di Rodari, esplorando tutti i suoi impegni scolastici e politici da quando era piccolo fino agli ultimi anni della sua vita. Si analizzano i contesti politici e il legame che lo scrittore italiano riuscì ad instaurare con l'unione sovietica, paese che gli portò una certa notorietà. Sugli anni dell'entusiasmo in Russia, scrisse il romanzo "Le avventure di Cipollino", ebbe molta fortuna e ricevette diversi adattamenti come quello teatrale o cinematografico (ovvero il punto focale di questa tesi). Si cerca un ulteriore panoramica al contesto politico russo e come Rodari riuscì ad inserirsi in un mondo decisamente diverso da quello italiano. ​
