Analisi dell’impatto del COVID-19 sul settore enoturistico nelle Langhe e nel Roero.

The paper aims to analyse the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the wine tourism sector in the Langhe and Roero area; the period immediately following the pandemic is also of interest, being characterised by a recovery of economic activities and an improvement in the financial situation of firms, in part thanks to public grants and subsidies. Numerous companies, therefore, have proceeded in making investments, based on these grants, aimed at increasing resilience, expanding their offerings and following the current trends of the sector. The paper therefore analyses how this negative phenomenon has been and can be used as an opportunity by the firms themselves. It is divided into four chapters: the first will include a brief analysis of the enotouristic sector in Langhe and Roero, evaluating its main elements of attractiveness and weakness; the second will analyse the impact of the pandemic on the sector; the third will highlight the response to this phenomenon by the institutions regarding grants and subsidies, in relation to the sector analysed; the fourth chapter, finally, will evaluate some of the possible developments and opportunities brought by this situation of extraordinaire character.

L’elaborato si propone di esaminare l’impatto della pandemia da Covid-19 sul settore enoturistico nell'area delle Langhe e del Roero; risulta di interesse, inoltre, il periodo immediatamente successivo alla pandemia stessa, caratterizzato da una ripresa delle attività economiche ed un miglioramento della situazione finanziaria delle imprese, anche grazie all’erogazione di contributi pubblici. Numerose imprese, quindi, hanno provveduto ad effettuare investimenti, sulla base di questi contributi, volti ad aumentare la loro resilienza, ad espandere la propria offerta ed a seguire le tendenze del settore in atto. Si vuole quindi analizzare come questo fenomeno negativo sia stato e possa essere utilizzato come un’opportunità dalle aziende del settore. L’elaborato è diviso in quattro capitoli: il primo comprenderà una breve analisi di quello che è il settore enoturistico nelle Langhe e nel Roero, valutandone i principali elementi di attrattività e criticità; il secondo analizzerà quello che è stato l’impatto della pandemia da Covid-19 sul settore; il terzo si occuperà di evidenziare la risposta a questo fenomeno da parte delle istituzioni per quanto riguarda i contributi alla ripresa ed allo sviluppo delle attività economiche, relativamente al settore analizzato; il quarto capitolo, infine, valuterà alcune eventuali linee di sviluppo future e possibilità offerte da questa situazione di carattere straordinario.
