Each nation's view of freedom is influenced by this significant difference in government. This study examines how China and the United States safeguard religious and speech freedoms. The laws and government systems of China and the United States are the focus of this study. It inquires: do these frameworks safeguard opportunities or cutoff them? This will show how every nation handles individual freedoms. This paper investigates how the US and China safeguard religious opportunities and free discourse. It's significant for anyone with any interest in legislatures or basic freedoms. Why? It demonstrates the various approaches these nations take to these freedoms. Scholars, policymakers, and advocates for human rights gain a better understanding of how governments can affect individual rights by comprehending this. In this thesis, we analyzed and studied many sources. These sources include Research papers, legal documents, and examples from real life. We discussed and researched about civil liberties and their protection separately in US and China. Later on, we moved forward with comparative analysis of civil liberties in these countries. We used the multi-faceted approach for all this.
