ADATTAMENTO PSICOLOGICO E FATTORI RESILIENTI IN BAMBINI E ADOLESCENTI CON FIBROSI CISTICA

This research aims to verify, through the association of psychological variables not yet explored in the literature, the psychological adjustment and resilient factors in children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis diagnosis. Data collection was held through the administration of the following questionnaires: the specific CFQ-R for cystic fibrosis and the resilience scale, RSCA. Part of the research also involved the parents of the boys of which were have been considered the level of resiliency and perceptions related to the quality of life and development of their children. With regard of this part have been administered the following questionnaires: Vineland in complete form and QRR-6 for adults resilience stairs. Participants were selected during long-term hospitalisation or during routine treatments, after a daily consultation of hospital department Registy and clinical records. The study found a good adaptation to the disease for the boys but still related with parental perceptions of their children. With regard to the resilience, subjects with cystic fibrosis have not developed rather high levels or very low, but intermediates ones.

Questa ricerca si propone di verificare, attraverso l'associazione di variabili psicologiche al momento non ancora esplorate in letteratura, l'adattamento psicologico e i fattori resilienti in bambini e adolescenti con diagnosi di fibrosi cistica. La raccolta dei dati si è svolta attraverso la somministrazione dei seguenti questionari: il CFQ-R specifico per la fibrosi cistica e la scale di resilienza, RSCA. Una parte della ricerca ha coinvolto anche i genitori dei ragazzi per i quali sono stati valutati il livello di resilienza e le percezioni relative alla qualità della vita e allo sviluppo dei figli. Per questa parte si è scelto di somministrare i seguenti questionari: Vineland in forma completa e il QQR-6 per le scale di resilienza adulti. I soggetti sono stati reclutati durante le lungodegenze ospedaliere e durante i controlli di routine, tramite consultazione dell'agenda di reparto e delle cartelle cliniche. Dallo studio emerge un buon adattamento alla malattia da parte dei ragazzi anche se pur sempre in correlazione con le percezioni genitoriali relative ai figli. Per quanto riguarda la capacità di resilienza, i soggetti affetti da fibrosi cistica non hanno sviluppato livelli piuttosto elevati o molto bassi, ma quanto più intermedi.
