L'antisemitismo nel pensiero di Guido Fubini

This work is dedicated to the figure of Guido Fubini (1924-2010). Turin lawyer, fled in France because of racial laws and then – after the fall of fascism – active in the Resistance, Fubini was a jurist, but also a politician and an intellectual engaged in the social and Jewish reality of Italy. Author of numerous essays on law, but also of humorous writings and political controversies that highlighted his peculiar skills as a writer, Fubini helped to start the process of renewal of Italian Judaism, which led to the “Intesa” between the Italian State and the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, dedicating his main efforts to the fight against antisemitism. Starting from the book "The Antisemitism of the Poor", this research aims to illustrate Fubini's contribution on the topic with a perspective anchored to his intuitions, but extended to the context and debates of those years.

Questo lavoro è dedicato alla figura di Guido Fubini (1924-2010). Avvocato torinese, fuggito in Francia a causa delle leggi razziali e poi – dopo la caduta del fascismo – attivo nella Resistenza, Fubini fu un giurista, ma anche un politico e un intellettuale impegnato nella realtà sociale ed ebraica italiana. Autore di numerosi saggi di diritto, ma anche di scritti umoristici e di polemica politica che misero in evidenza le sue peculiari doti di scrittore, Fubini contribuì ad avviare il processo di rinnovamento dell'ebraismo italiano, che portò all'Intesa tra lo Stato italiano e l'Unione delle Comunità Ebraiche Italiane, dedicando i suoi principali sforzi alla lotta contro l'antisemitismo. A partire dal libro "L'antisemitismo dei poveri", questa ricerca intende illustrare il contributo di Fubini sul tema con una prospettiva ancorata alle sue intuizioni, ma allargata al contesto e ai dibattiti di quegli anni.
