Luigi Pareyson e il cristianesimo tragico. Ripensare la religione dopo la morte di Dio

In this paper the possibility of a postmodern Christianity is discussed, starting from the Tragic Thought of Luigi Pareyson. In fact, postmodernity rejects representative thought, an idea of a stable subject and teleology: starting from these new epistemic conditions, Tragic Thought presents itself as an alternative to nihilism and Weak Thought which, while accepting the end of modernity, renounce to a concept of truth that guarantees the validity of the interpretation. So, Pareyson's tragic Christianity, through Dostoevsky's idea of the suffering God and the hermeneutics of myth, offers itself to postmodernity as a philosophical rethinking of Christianity.

In questo elaborato viene discussa la possibilità di un cristianesimo postmoderno a partire dal pensiero tragico di Luigi Pareyson. La postmodernità rifiuta infatti il pensiero rappresentativo, un'idea di soggetto stabile e la teleologia: sulla base di queste nuove condizioni epistemiche, il pensiero tragico si presenta come alternativo al nichilismo e al pensiero debole che, pur accettando la fine della modernità, rinunciano ad un concetto di verità che garantisca la validità dell'interpretazione. Il cristianesimo tragico di Pareyson, tramite l'idea del Dio sofferente di Dostoevskij e l'ermeneutica del mito, si offre dunque alla postmodernità come un ripensamento filosofico del cristianesimo.
