Lo studio è stato condotto al fine di ottenere e rilevare un correlazione tra le analisi geofisiche e quelle geomeccaniche. Tale studio è stato svolto lungo la media valle del Corborant. Le metodologie utilizate per questo lavoro, per quanto concerne la parte geomeccanica, sono principalmente due: rilievi geomeccanici e caratterizzazione dei versanti rocciosi tramite il metodo di Hoek & Brown. Per quanto riguarda le analisi geofisiche, eseguite in collaborazione con il Politecnico di Torino, è stato effettuato un rilievo tramite magnetometro a precessione protonica, un rilievo tramite VLF, una tomografia elettrica e un'analisi dei potenziali spontanei. Dal lavoro è stata individuata con precisione la faglia lungo la quale si ha la risalita delle acque termali, sono state individuate due possibili zone di mineralizzazione ed è stata confermata la presenza di una già nota, è stata trovata una correlazione tra le analisi geofisiche e i rilievi geomeccanici, è stato creato un profilo unendo le informazioni ottenute dalle diverse analisi ed è stato comparato con il profilo gravimetrico eseguito da Guglielmetti al fine di ottenere ulteriori correlazioni.

Regarding geophysical analysis, performed in collaboration with the Polytechnic of Turin, a survey was made using proton precession magnetometer, a survey by VLF, an electric tomography and an analysis of spontaneous potential. From the work has been identified with precision the fault along which there is an ascent of thermal waters, have been identified two possible mineralization areas and was confirmed the presence of one already known, has been found a correlation between the geophysical analysis and geomechanical survey, it was created a profile by combining the information obtained from the different analysis and it was compared with the gravimetric profile performed by Guglielmetti in order to obtain further correlations.
