Data science and Machine Learning help solve more and more problems everyday, the rise has an exponential growth in complexity and use which already affects the lives of billions. \\ One of the most affected fields is the financial one. This research focuses on the study of an automatic and systematic way to cluster financial transactions into different bank accounts through text mining and machine learning techniques. \\ Text Mining concerns discovering and extracting knowledge from the reasons for payment, which are unstructured data, transforming them into a usable format that gives us the possibility to find qualitative and quantitative information about not only each single transaction, but also associations between them. \\ Machine Learning techniques allow us to extract useful information from all the structured data given and mold it into an understandable structure used to discover patterns. Finally the actual classification is an algorithm based on ensemble methods of decision trees which allows to produce predictions about the categorization of the financial transactions.
