This paper aims at showing how DE&I goals are positively linked to profitability and economic performance of a business. The study’s purpose is to treat and consider various topics, which are current and crucial in today’s Businesses Strategy: Gender Gap, Nondiscrimination related to gender, race, sexual orientation, sexual identification, and socio-economical background. Firstly, the disclosure will start with the definition and the origins of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Secondly, the dissertation will proceed with the theories and the actual cases demonstrating the positive link between DE&I policies and the economic success of the business. In this session, there will be taken in consideration Companies developing and applying DE&I policies to their Core Business Strategy. Then, it will be examined the correlation with two of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals: the 5th, to achieve gender parity and empower all Women and Girls, and the 8th, to promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
